History

For more than five decades, since 1963, we have delivered component and system solutions based on extruded, coated and processed aluminum profiles.

Hydal Components AB was previously Hydro until 2014 when the EU competition authorities decided that Hydro should sell some market shares and production facilities in Norway and in Sweden. This is because a joint venture between Hydro and Orkla could be implemented.   Hydal Aluminiumprofiler AB was the new name of the company until 2023 when we decided to expand the portfolio and also offer parts in other material, for ex steel. After this we renamed the company to Hydal Components AB
