Hydal Components AB certified according to IATF 16949!
Hydal Aluminium Profiler AB has now been certified according to IATF 16949. Previously, we worked according to ISO 9001, but we have now gone one step further, all to be at the forefront in terms of quality and thus even better equipped to take on new business. IATF 16949 is a quality management system for the automotive industry. Certification according to IATF 16949 (formerly ISO / TS 16949) shows that you as a company have been audited according to the standard and relevant customer requirements and that you live up to these. Hydal will apply the IATF 16949 approach not only to customers in the automotive industry, but also to other customers. A lot of work has been put to land this project. Stena Recycling visiting Hydal!
Affe Wennerberg, Stena Recyling, visited Hydal Aluminum Profiler AB on Thursday 22 October. Affe talked about waste distribution in Sweden and the importance of recycling. Man must fully move from the former linear economy to the circular economy, ie everything we produce must also be recyclable. Recycling is a matter of course in Hydal’s operations. We are also proud to say that for several years now Hydal has been a landfill-free business and we are energy-conscious by replacing our existing lighting with energy-efficient LED lighting. Hydal raises competence through Produktionslyftet!
Hydal Aluminum Profiler AB shall for 18 months participate in the Development Program from Produktionslyftet. The proven program from Produktionslyftet aims to develop the company’s inherent ability to renew itself and improve its competitiveness – all based on the company’s own strengths and values. All employees at the company become involved. In the Development Program, coaching and workshops are conducted at the company every two weeks, the last six months every four weeks. When needed, an expert with different competencies from Produktionslyftet participates. All based on Lean. Here we see committed staff who make the Lean game where you simulate the entire chain with the order flow – from the customer’s order to delivery. Greger educates us in IATF 16949!
As part of our upcoming certification to the quality system IATF 16949, we have undergone training for 2 days at 3 weeks interval. Greger Thuresson from diday AB in Jönköping has lectured for us and we also got homework in the form of group work between the two days of education. Newly appointed quality manager – Frida Klein
Hydal Aluminum Profiler AB has hired a new quality manager. Frida Klein started with us as new quality manager on 9 September 2019. Frida is basically a mechanical engineer and has in recent years worked as a quality manager at Spaljisten in Åseda.
